ABOUT US
The Pound Ridge Partnership
Led by an energetic group of volunteers, the Pound Ridge Partnership is an independent, non-partisan, community-based organization aimed at bringing together residents, businesses, property owners, elected officials, and community leaders to support and improve the Pound Ridge Business District. We envision a thriving, vibrant, and inclusive Business District that meets the needs of Pound Ridge residents and serves as a gathering place for all. We also strive to make Pound Ridge a destination for residents from neighboring towns who come to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the Business District and take part in its retail and dining experiences, ranging from arts and antiques to local produce and cuisines. The Partnership collaborates with the Human Rights Advisory Committee (HRAC) by serving as the fiscal sponsor for the Pound Ridge Color Run event. This allows the HRAC to fund and promote the event as part of our annual Proud Days initiative.
The Human Rights Advisory Committee
The mission of the Human Rights Advisory Committee (HRAC) is to provide guidance to the Town of Pound Ridge on diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies and policies that improve outcomes for marginalized populations and the community at-large. The Committee hosts events that support cultural understanding, mutual respect, and inclusivity and assists the Town of Pound Ridge in strengthening relationships with local organizations, among other tasks. The Pound Ridge Color Run is an HRAC collaboration with the Pound Ridge Partnership, which is financially supporting the event and making it possible for our Advisory Committee to hold a town-wide Pride Month celebration.
